Our Mission
A creative, unique and high-quality menu that our community finds exciting and accessible, all made with care and intentionality, quality ingredients, and an eco-friendly philosophy.
We collaborate with The 490 Bakery and their mission, by providing a safe, welcoming, and refreshing environment to foster community and healing.
We at The Gooleyguk want to foster community and help those who have less, like the Gooleyguks in the poems helped their neighbors. In order to help with that, each month we donate 10% of our profits, 25% of our electronic tips, and $5 for every Gooleyguk Cafe t-shirt we sell, to The Hope Project, who’s important mission is: “To support the healing of girls and women who have survived sex trafficking and prevent further cases through mentoring and education“
Note: While we try our best to support organizations that are ethical, no organization is perfect and not everyone (including us) will agree with all of their practices. Social issues are nuanced, and we want to do as much research into the organizations we support as we can. Our heart is to support organizations that intentionally seek to improve their communities and the earth as a whole. If we support any organizations that are harmful, please make us aware by contacting us at gooleygukcafe@gmail.com
